Visas complicate one in two business trips in Spain
Visa processing has become a serious bottleneck for corporate travel, and it's not an isolated case. According to a survey commissioned by Perk and published by Hosteltur, 50% of Spanish professionals who traveled for work in the last year had to apply for a visa or electronic travel authorization. Almost half of those travelers ran into difficulties along the way.
The picture the survey paints is telling:
- Delays in processing.
- Extra costs that don't always come from the company.
- Fronting money out of pocket.
- Postponed trips or lost ones.
