## Article

TUI Hotels & Resorts is not slowing down its expansion in Spain. The chain has just opened a hotel in **Fuengirola** and has signed a new project for the brand in **Seville**, as reported by [Hosteltur](https://www.hosteltur.com/177345_tui-hotels-abre-un-establecimiento-en-fuengirola-y-firma-un-proyecto-en-sevilla.html?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=tui-hotels-abre-un-establecimiento-en-fuengirola-y-firma-un-proyecto-en-sevilla).

- **Fuengirola opening**: a property now operational that extends TUI's footprint on the Costa del Sol.
- **Future Seville hotel**: a signed project targeting the Andalusian capital, a destination increasingly in demand by international tourism.

The move makes sense. Andalusia concentrates a large share of Spain's leisure and urban tourism, and TUI wants to be where demand is. Backed by Europe's travel giant, the brand strengthens its presence in two complementary locations: sun and beach in Fuengirola, culture and city break in Seville.

We will see how they execute the Seville project, a city where limits on new hotel openings are already a factor to watch.
