Summary: Hosteltur presents LAIA, an AI assistant to search 25 years of tourism news with natural language. Joan’s take for Notitur.

## Article

Hosteltur has launched **LAIA**, an artificial intelligence assistant that lets travel professionals search the latest news and a **25-year archive** using natural language. I see this as a smart move: in an industry where quality information is key, having a conversational search engine that only digs into your own database gives Hosteltur a huge edge. Plus, it takes on Google and generic AIs that often mix dubious sources. The catch? Not everyone knows how to ask the right question, but that’s where training comes in.

My take: this is no toy, it’s a work tool. If you’re in the industry and often dig into archives, **LAIA** saves you hours. And mark my words, this is just the beginning: wait till they integrate charts, booking data or market reports. For now, welcome.
