Summary: The 524-room property adopts Shiji Daylight PMS and Infrasys POS on a single cloud platform to speed up guest service.

## Article

The **First Central Hotel Suites in Dubai** has taken a step many independent hotels keep putting off: it has unified front desk and food and beverage on a single platform. According to [Hospitality Net](https://www.hospitalitynet.org/news/4134349/first-central-hotel-suites-dubai-unifies-front-office-and-f-b-to-speed-up-guest-service), the **524-room** property has rolled out Shiji's **Daylight PMS** and **Infrasys POS**, both running on the same cloud infrastructure.

The practical consequence is not cosmetic. When a guest charges a drink from the bar to their room, that entry no longer travels between two systems that barely talk to each other. It sits where the front desk agent sees the reservation, the check-in and the folio. Fewer internal calls, shorter waits at the desk, less room for the human error that shows up when someone types the same thing twice on two different screens.

My read: this should be standard in 2024, and it still is the exception. **Big chains have run unified stacks for years. The mid-sized independent, not so much.** Dubai is a market where the fight for RevPAR is brutal and where a guest compares your check-in with the one next door. A 524-key property closing that gap with a single vendor should make noise among revenue managers in the region. One caution: unifying is half the job. The other half is making sure front desk and F&B teams actually use the cross-referenced data to sell, not just to charge.
