The move lands with Dom Dragisich freshly installed as CEO and a declared priority he himself put on the table: growing net rooms. That is the part that nags me. Skift notes that the challenge is proving those **500,000 RV users** turn into hotel stays. I would add: into Choice stays, not just anyone's.

The logic holds if you read it as buying data and brand. Harvest Hosts is a community with recurring membership, drivers who book, and a customer profile Choice does not reach with its economy and midscale brands. Turning an RV into a room night is sellable and defensible if the conversion on rate, nights and frequency actually shows up. It reads more like a loyalty play than a distribution bet.

My read: this is a customer-base purchase dressed up as product expansion. A real opportunity, yes, but the metric gets settled over the next few quarters, how many membership payers accept a hotel bed when the destination sits 20 minutes from a farm.
