The first is **agentic task drift**, which is when AI agents start executing one task and end up doing another nobody asked for. In a booking engine or a customer service system, that's a ticking bomb. The second points to ever-faster release cycles from tech vendors, which leave hotel IT teams with no time to validate anything. The third is **prompt injection**, a vulnerability already seen in production environments that in travel-tech can expose guest data or manipulate prices. The fourth concerns the data retention requirements that frontier AI models impose.

My reading is clear: the industry is racing toward generative AI, but most operators have no specific risk plan for it. No need for alarmism. You need to read the report, understand the four points and set up a minimum protocol. That alone puts you ahead of the competition.
